Criminal Justice College is one of the four law colleges in China University of Political Science and Law. It is a secondary schoolcomposed by former College of Social Engineering and Institute of Juvenile Delinquency of the university. Criminal Justice College now has five institutes and three departments: Institute of Criminal Law, Institute of Criminal Procedure Law, Institute of Criminal Investigation, Institute of Criminology, Department of Juvenile Delinquency, Department of Sociology and Department of Social Work.  Investigation science labs and criminal psychology labs have been  established as well.

Administrative institutions including College Office, Teaching and Researching Office and Graduate Affairs Office are responsible for all colleges’ teaching, research, administration and management of graduate students.Party Committee branch is set in the college, which consists of Student Affairs Office,Press Crops of Criminal Justice School and the branch Office of the Youth League Committee, in charge of faculty and students’ political ideological work and students’ life.

College attaches great importance to the construction of disciplines and professions which aims at a professional discipline system with multidisciplinary development and mutual penetration. Undergraduate and graduate levels exist inside the college: undergraduate level with majors of Science of Law, Criminal Investigation and Social Work; Master graduate with pathways of Science of Criminal Law and Law in Litigation; doctorate graduate with directions of Criminal Law in Litigation, Science of Criminal Policies, Science of Evidence and Litigation Psychology.

Criminal Justice College of China University of Political Science and Law has a strong team of teaching faculty with outstanding abilities of research and studying. The college has always been focusing on the improvement of scientific research. Many staffs of the college have involved in national legislation activities and have made due contributions to the construction of the country’s legal system.
